Figured we could use a section to discuss performance enhancing modifications... so here it is. And, I'll get us started with a few topics.

Not sure if it is a performance mod but I would greatly love ....

A new seat is my first choice, stock is just a little too hard for 200 miles.

Completely agree. Took her for a spin through the hills on the weekend and had to stop every hour or so because my a@s kept hurting.

The more time you spend on it, the more your ass will get used to it. It's like a road bike seat :)

Give it a few more weeks. I think you'll be good.

Wouldn't mind a seat warmer and handlebar warmers for these shitty cold days. :P

I ride a road bicycle.  It took me a while to get used to it.  After a while, you only need to shift your weight around or get up off the seat occasionally while riding.  Unless you happen to be a big guy, you should have no problem breaking in the seat...or maybe the seat breaks you in :P
Gear up for every ride, regardless of duration.  Zombies are cool, but I wouldn't want to look like one full time

Lol! Yeah definitely feels like it's doing most of the breaking at the moment. Ahahaha! :P

A company called Seat Concepts is pretty big in the DS/Adv scene and offers a heating kit I'm sure you could fit if serious.

http://seatconcepts....product=7337354

$80

I'm planning to add an inch to my seat height with confort foam via a custom builder. I have always used Renazco Racing for my DS bikes, great work and materials but long wait. I'll see how long it takes to get a spare seat from kawi and mail them one to build. If he is too busy, I'll try Seat Concepts next, or a local shop.

I have the MGP Growler Exhaust slip on with a custom made bracket to suit the bolt hole lineup ( $250 and @5 for install and custom bracket), Custom fender eliminator w led strip turn signals  ( $40 Modified bracket and turn signals wired and installed you wont find my setup online anywhere ) and a remote start and alarm ( $120 parts, labor and install, the 7 wire ignition had my buddy chris thinking for a minute but he got it done and it looks like it came from the factory wired that way ) still working on some more things. I'd really like to find just the headers for the bike so i can have a little bit more performance but I have no idea where to find them w/o a complete exhaust kit. If anyone has any knowledge on this and a price it'd be great and i'd really appreciate it. I'll post pics tomorrow if I can remember.
